The Events Coordinator works for CUP (Community Uplift Partnership) to help facilitate events and rentals at any of our three coffee houses.

The bulk of our events are at the Reunion Coffee House. We are looking for someone who is community-minded and lives close to the Reunion Coffee House location.

Duties:
Rental Requests: You will be fielding emails and requests to rent the coffee house. Your job is to help rent the facility by answering questions, giving tours, sending out rental agreements and collecting payment.

Community Vendors: We rent community cubbies and monthly vendor markets. You advertise and facilitate sign ups. You are the point person for these cubbies and the markets.

Special Event & Activity Requests: You will work alongside schools, businesses and other partnerships that want to book special activities such as bingo, bunko, story time and more.

Holidays: We have a large Christmas event at the coffee house, it includes a community and outreach component. You will help with the advertising and facilitating of these events.

Catering Requests: You will help book and coordinate with our store managers any catering meetings or events.

Networking: attending chamber and networking functions to promote our non-profit and coffee houses.

Non-Profit Support: We run fundraisers, galas and sponsorship activities. You'll be part of the support team to help coordinate these things.

Job Skills:
Event oriented
Planner & Organizer of small/medium sized events
Email / Computer / Typing Skills
Setting up and organizing google forms and data
Great communication skills
Driving to other locations and to pick up supplies will be needed
Social Media & Canva design is a plus, but not required

Personality:
You're a multi-tasker
You can work independently
You like to think of new ideas for events and happenings
You don't mind working with young adults and believe in the CUP mission
Community minded and connection is a plus. Being in social media community groups is helpful to spread the word about activities in the neighborhood.
Flexible to grow with the position if tasks are added or changed.

Schedule is flexible, you can work from home for many things. Plan to work one a few hours together with the team and you'll be onsite occasionally to facilitate or organize for events/happenings.

We are hiring for a part-time position. 10-20hours a week. Pay is $18/hour, no tips. Additional benefits include free coffee and the most happy & healthy work environment around!
