About CUP: Community Uplift Partnership (CUP) is a Colorado faith-based nonprofit that helps young adults overcome hurdles in their lives through education and connection. Our programs serve young people ages 16–24 in safe, supportive environments that foster growth, stability, hope, and faith.

Scope of Position: The Youth Empowerment Program Manager oversees CUP’s YEP classes, ensuring high-quality, relational programming that supports young adults in their growth and journeys launching into adulthood.

A Day in the Life as a YEP Program Manager:

• Community Involvement
  As the leader of YEP, your role will involve networking to find potential guest speakers and community members who can share their personal experiences on topics like financial literacy, resume writing, time management, and leading life with wisdom.
• Curriculum Development
  This role will include finding and developing impactful curriculum that is relevant to the young adults of today. Your time will be divided between leading and managing the youth education program, engaging with community partners, and collaborating with CUP leadership to ensure program success.
• Oversee Data Tracking and Program Outcomes This job is administrative-heavy. A key aspect of your role will be collecting data, analyzing and tracking what works and what doesn’t in the classroom, and measuring student growth. You’ll need to be a self-starter with strong organizational skills to accurately report on grants and other funding resources.

Qualifications to be the Youth Empowerment Program Manager:

• We are looking for a person with character who leads with kindness and wisdom and has a compassionate heart that wants to see others succeed.
• Prior experience working with youth or young adults, mentorship, curriculum implementation, or in a classroom setting is preferred.
• We seek someone who is a collaborative leader and can let the best ideas rise to the surface, even if they aren’t their own.
• The ideal candidate should be well-networked and understand the power of crucial conversations, grace, and forgiveness in maintaining healthy relationships.
• Awareness of the challenges young people face in navigating the world of work, school, family, and life.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills, both in and out of the classroom, are essential.
• Proficiency in core computer programs (Word, Google Docs, Excel, etc.) and ease in operating a laptop, including clarity, brevity, and efficiency in communication, are necessary skills.
• Experience with program coordination and data tracking is needed.
• Alignment with CUP’s mission and values.

• One weekly evening class (a 12-week session) at Reunion Coffee House from 5pm to 8:30pm, located at 10601 Reunion Pkwy, Commerce City, CO 80022. Currently Monday nights for 2-3 sessions a year.
• One weekly evening class (a 12-week session) at Greyhound Grounds Coffee House from 5pm to 8:30pm, located at 6230 Glencoe St, Commerce City, CO 80022. Currently on Wednesday nights for 2-3 sessions a year.

• One or two office days working out of the Greyhound store.
• One or two office days working out of the Reunion store.
